Chung Keng Seng Co., Ltd. was primarily established in 1969 as a leading exporter of jute/kenaf. Afterwards, we started running tapioca soft pellet business and then took a giant step into tapioca hard pellet business in response to the international market’s greater demand for higher quality tapioca pellets.

Later, Keng Seng Co., Ltd. was founded in 1974 to oversea expanding international trading in particular as well as serve as the key company of all Keng Seng group of companies.

In order to support the subsidiaries’ convenient sea transportation and launch our extensive sea transportation business, Thai Gulf Development Transport Ltd. was later set up in 1982.

One year later, Keng Seng Warehouse Co., Ltd., our next subsidiary, was founded to serve and monitor the increasing number of the subsidiaries’ warehouses. Keng Seng Group of Companies decided with a long vision to start up Keng Seng Warehouse Co., Ltd. to run the storage and distribution of goods smoothly and efficiently. This is to firmly ensure our valued customers that they will acquire their goods in a swift, certain, sufficient and qualified manner.

In 1988, Keng Seng Nakornluang Co., Ltd. was established to switch into another significant area of business, that is, rice business, focusing on Premium Quality Jasmine Rice 100% under the world-famous brand of “Golden Tub”.

With the expansion of the subsidiaries’ booming real estate business in Thailand, C&V Real Estate Co., Ltd. was set up in 1996 to manage real estate’s marketing arm.
Founded in 2002, Chokchai Starch Co., Ltd., the latest subsidiary, is running the tapioca business as a way to add the value to tapioca products by producing premium quality tapioca (native/modified) starch to meet the continuous demand of Asian and European markets.
